From the $10 Town Motel (corner of Mayne and Medley Streets) travel north along Medley Street, across Rouse Street (give way signs) and go straight onto Barney’s Reef Road (Medley Street becomes Barney’s Reef Road). When the township ends travel approximately 400 metres and turn LEFT into Black Lead Lane onto a dirt road. Progress up to the top of the hill and go past the first entrance and the main house, which is mountain blue, and then you will see the Cottage on the left hand side. Turn left at the second entrance as the Cottage has its own driveway and car park. Just drive in, unpack and enjoy. For our guests’ convenience on those dark nights, there are small solar drive way lights which will indicate the driveway.
